I am an accountant, entrepreneur, caterer, and passionate disability rights advocate committed to promoting inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for persons with disabilities.
I am the founder and manager of Candiswit Confectionaries and Events, where I use my passion for catering, entrepreneurship, and skills development to create value and inspire others. Over the years, I have been actively involved in awareness campaigns that promote disability inclusion, challenge stigma, and encourage persons with disabilities, especially young people, to believe in their abilities and pursue their dreams with confidence.
I am also a student of Warien Rose Academy and currently pursuing a Master’s in Humanitarian Professional Education from Roxbourg in Switzerland. This journey continues to strengthen my passion for humanitarian service, empowerment, and inclusive development.
As the Team Lead of SheBakes Ability Training, my goal is to empower women with disabilities by equipping them with practical pastry and baking skills, business knowledge, mentorship, and the confidence they need to become financially independent and active contributors to their communities.
I am also proud to be one of the bold contestants in Nigeria’s first-ever Albinism Beauty Pageant, organised by Misty Glam Company. Through this platform, I continue to use my voice and visibility to advocate for acceptance, representation, and equal opportunity.
My mission is to inspire, empower, and create sustainable opportunities for persons with disabilities through skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, and advocacy.
SheBakes
At SheBakes Ability Training, we believe that women with disabilities in Ikorodu should have equal access to dignity, confidence, opportunity, and economic independence.
Through inclusive pastry and baking training, mentorship, business guidance, and community support, we are empowering women with disabilities in Ikorodu to develop practical skills, build sustainable livelihoods, and become confident contributors within their families and communities.
Purpose
Our purpose is to empower women with disabilities in Ikorodu, Lagos, by providing them with practical and sustainable vocational skills that open pathways to economic inclusion, dignity, self-reliance, and long-term independence.
Through this initiative, we create opportunities for women who are often overlooked, helping them discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop skills that can improve their livelihoods and transform their future.
Ambition
Our ambition is to build a transformative empowerment platform for women with disabilities between the ages of 30 and 50, where they are recognized for their abilities, creativity, and potential rather than their limitations.
Through SheBakes Ability Training, we aim to raise confident women who can become entrepreneurs, financially independent contributors, and positive role models within their families and communities.
The goal is not only to teach a skill, but to restore confidence, promote dignity, and help each participant see herself as capable, valuable, and empowered.
What We Offer
SheBakes Ability Training is an economic empowerment initiative designed to provide livelihood opportunities for women with disabilities in Lagos, Nigeria, through structured vocational training in pastry production.
The program equips participants with practical baking and pastry-making skills, basic business knowledge, mentorship, and entrepreneurial guidance needed to start and manage small-scale pastry businesses.
By the end of the program, participants will be better prepared to turn their skills into income-generating opportunities, build sustainable livelihoods, and work toward long-term financial independence.
This initiative is our contribution to creating a more inclusive society where women with disabilities are supported, empowered, and given the opportunity to thrive.
