Team Lead, Her Ability Home Care Project
My name is Omobolaji Bowale-Kalejaiye. I am an entrepreneur, disability rights advocate, household product formulator, and a passionate believer in empowerment, inclusion, and self-reliance.
I am a student of Warien Rose Academy and currently pursuing a Professional Master’s degree in Humanitarian Education at Roxbourg, Switzerland. My academic journey continues to strengthen my passion for humanitarian service, inclusive development, and creating opportunities for people, especially women with disabilities.
I serve as the Team Lead of the Her Ability Home Care Project, an empowerment initiative focused on equipping women with disabilities with practical skills in the production of essential household products such as liquid soap, disinfectant, and bleach. Through this project, my goal is to help participants gain useful skills, build confidence, create income opportunities, and move toward self-reliance.
Beyond household product formulation, I also have a deep love for fabrics and handmade crafts, which I use as tools for creativity, empowerment, and advocacy. I believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to discover her gifts, express her uniqueness, and contribute meaningfully to her community.
As one of the trailblazing finalists at the Albinism Advocacy Pageant, I am proud to use my voice and platform to challenge myths about albinism, break barriers, promote acceptance, and inspire young girls to embrace their uniqueness with pride.
My mission is to empower, inspire, and create practical opportunities that help women with disabilities recognize their abilities, build sustainable livelihoods, and live with dignity and confidence.
Her Ability Home Care Project
At Her Ability Home Care Project, we believe that young women with disabilities deserve access to dignity, confidence, opportunity, and economic independence.
Through inclusive training in the production of essential household products such as liquid soap, disinfectant, and bleach, we are equipping young women with disabilities with practical, income-generating skills. With mentorship, branding guidance, marketing support, and community encouragement, we help participants build confidence, create sustainable livelihoods, and become active contributors within their families, communities, and society.
Purpose
My purpose is to uplift and empower young women with disabilities in Ikorodu by equipping them with practical, income-generating skills in the production of essential household products such as liquid soap, disinfectant, and bleach.
Through this initiative, participants gain more than vocational skills. They gain confidence, dignity, financial independence, and a stronger voice within their families and communities.
Ambition
My ambition is to help break the cycle of unemployment among young women with disabilities, particularly those between the ages of 16 and 25.
Through hands-on, market-ready training, the program is designed to enable participants to produce, brand, market, and sustainably sell high-demand household products. The goal is to position them not only as beneficiaries, but as creators, entrepreneurs, and active contributors to economic growth.
What We Offer
